Brunswick Woodworking was established in 1980 to serve the needs of a select few Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia area architects and general contractors who were looking for a manufacturer with integrity, quality and diversity to produce their higher end architectural millwork applications meeting stringent quality requirements. Soon our name became synonymous with quality craftsmanship, integrity, and a genuine care for our customers. Many of the architects and general contractors we have worked with have become loyal to Brunswick Woodworking and the level of professionalism, the attention to detail and the emphasis we put on them and their customers satisfaction that we bring with us to all of our projects.

We have the diversity and proven capability of utilizing many various materials and substrates, exotic and domestic veneers, hardwoods and softwoods with varied methods of fabrication to suit the requirements of a specific architect, designer, property owner or contractor. All of our shop and installation personnel are 100% Union employees. Each team member is highly skilled and a well qualified journeymen. Many have completed formal apprenticeships early in their careers. This awards our clientele with the best workmanship and professionalism available in the industry today.

In 1983 Brunswick Woodworking became a member of the Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) and achieved AWI certification for premium grade fabrication, finishing and installations. We still maintain this certification and are still a participating member of the Quality Certification Program (QCP) which is sponsored by the AWI. We are proud of the QCP certification and the national quality standard it represents.

We are always looking to the future. At current we are turning our focus to the USGBC and the LEED or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design principles and practices which are showing us a new way to a sustainable green future. We have completed and are currently involved in several LEED projects and have a solid understanding of the principles and practices of this exciting new trend in the responsible building of America.
